Silva, who had to fight off retirement speculation of his own after suffering a broken leg in late 2013, said he doesn’t know exactly what goals and intentions Nogueira has at this point in his career. But after putting together a decorated career, Silva thinks his fellow Brazilian should have the right to decide on his own.

Stephan Bonnar Is A Nutjob And It's Awesome
Stephan Bonnar, aka The American Psycho, is almost as colorful and silly a character as Emanuel Newton, so, of course he’s in Bellator. Dana White said that he let Bonnar out of his contract so Bonnar could beat the shit out of Tito Ortiz again.

For Daniel Cormier, permanent 'UFC Tonight' gig is 'wildest dream' come true
“My very first one was UFC 155 when Cain (Velasquez) fought Junior Dos Santos the second time,” Cormier said. “It was a great idea that I would corner (Cain) then rush back to do the post-fight show. Right at the beginning, Ariel Helwani did a report and the report started to run in my ear as I was on live television. I stopped talking, and I went, ‘I can hear Ariel.’ Kenny Florian and Jon Anik both look at me with the most stunned faces and go, ‘Yes, you can, Daniel. Get back to what you were saying. You can’t stop on national television.’
Video: Croatian boxer KOs referee at European Youth Championships, proceeds to punch ref while he's down
A truly bizarre scene unfolded at the European Youth Boxing Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. As you can see in the video at the top of the page, The Croatian boxer (Vido Loncar) socked the referee with a right hand, and then while the ref is downed and severely hurt, proceeded to use MMA-style ground-and-pound on the man until he's pulled by his ankles out of the ring. His opponent in the blue corner opted to flee the scene while the referee took his beating. After the Croatian boxer was removed, the referee was eventually helped up after the ring had been cleared.
Royce Gracie wants MMA fight against Eddie Bravo: ‘I can never send my kid to someone that praises alcohol and drugs’
"You're gonna send your kids to learn from a guy that tells everybody that it's okay to do drugs? It's ok to drink alcohol? Sorry, man," Gracie explained. "If you wanna do it in private, do it in private. I have no problem with that. But I can never send my kid to someone that praises alcohol and drugs. Is that what you want your kids to learn? It's okay to smoke pot? ‘Oh, pot is not a drug.' So walk into a police station with a pound of pot and tell the cops it's not a drug. Come on."

Steven Seagal and Josh Barnett go head to head in new movie
Steven Seagal has taken time away from teaching Anderson Silva deadly stuff to pump out four movies this year, including one called Cyborg Nemesis! But I'm most excited for 'Absolution', because it not only stars a comically tanned Seagal but UFC heavyweight Josh Barnett. Barnett plays a corrupt government agent concerned Seagal is going to expose links between his office and a bunch of drug and sex trade stuff. Y'know, typical B-level action movie fare.
The Most Violent Finishes From ONE FC: Roar of Tigers
ONE FC returned to Malaysia on Friday for its Roar of Tigers event, and as usual the action was violent and decisive with all nine fights resulting in finishes.
