Love & Hate

Dear Terri, you are right, after my separation and then divorce I had this feeling inside of me that was fighting every time I had to see my ex when he had to spend some time with our girl…I was feeling anger and nervousness and at the same time I wanted him to hug me and kiss me…it took a long time now three years that I finally I don’t feel this…I guess I have moved on and I am healed…I never hated him but I was angry and disappointed…yes time and love heals…in my case my family, friends and of course my little girl love…

Bellator Champ Emanuel Newton Open to Future Bout with ‘Rampage’ Jackson

Emanuel Newton has stomped his way to the top of Bellator’s 205-pound division. | Photo: Keith Mills/Sherdog.com With his third-round spinning back fist knockout of Joey Beltran last month, Bellator MMA light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton proved that lightning can indeed strike twice. When Newton utilized the same maneuver to finish Muhammed Lawal at Bellator 90 last year, it was viewed by many -- including “King Mo” -- as something of a fluke. Now, after putting away the durable Beltran in similar fashion, “The Hardcore Kid” believes he has silenced at least some of the doubters. “People can see that I can set it up. Not only does it knock you down; it knocks you out. I think that anybody who has ever doubted my spinning back fist is a believer now,” Newton told Sherdog.com. “You’re always going to have your haters out there -- because that’s what people love to do. You’re going to have your keyboard warriors: the guys who are just sitting behind the keyboard eating doughnuts and not happy with their lives, but whatever.

Garrett

Garrett "G Money" Holeve has been waiting for this moment for 15 months. On November 7th, the 25-year-old mixed martial arts fighter will step into the cage to fight David "Cerebral Assassin" Steffan, in St. Charles, Missouri. The pair were scheduled to face off last summer in Florida, but the bout was cancelled at the last minute when the sanctioning body pulled its authorization, citing safety concerns for the fighters.

I hopped down the bus stairs and clubbed his jaw why his 100 pound arms were struggling out of their coffins, sending his 300 pound ass stumblin. I checked his face while he was taking off his ROTC jacket, but he deserved that one for the bus rides, the portopotty incident, the Legend of Zelda he stole, alldat. Then i hockey fighted him, but my dad came running off the porch, hollerin' "JASON! fuckin quit that shit" but by the time he got there he realized that i wasn't losin this fight and i saw him crack a smile. Bubba gave me some respect after that, because, well, he had to.

More details on Cung Le's drug test and the UFC's decision to terminate his suspension

Why didn't the UFC use a WADA lab? There may be two possible reasons. In order for an entity to be able to order tests to be conducted by a WADA lab, they must have a qualified scientific director and a comprehensive list of WADA approved policies and procedures in place. The policies and procedures refers to protocol such as results management, appeals, etc. The scientific director is the person with the needed expertise to interpret the lab results. It is unclear if the UFC employs a person with those qualifications. UFC spokesman Dave Sholler has ceased responding to emails about this case despite confirming he has received them. Gary Ibarra, Le's manager, told me that he still does not know if the Hong Kong lab or someone at the UFC determined Le's HGH levels were too high. Without a scientific director or policies and procedures, the UFC was unlikely able to procure the WADA approved Beijing lab.

UFC 179 Statistical Matchup Analysis: Aldo vs. Mendes 2

Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes will meet for a second time. | Photo: Gleidson Venga/Sherdog.com It was not long ago that Brazil seemed to have a stranglehold on Ultimate Fighting Championship gold, its denizens sitting atop the bantamweight, featherweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. Now, pound-for-pound stalwart Jose Aldo is the lone torchbearer for Brazil, carrying both the hopes of his country and the longest active winning streak of all UFC champions into his seventh title defense against Chad Mendes in the UFC 179 main event on Saturday at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. Meanwhile, Mendes looks to avenge his only loss and make the UFC championship picture a clean sweep for the Red, White and Blue. “Money” has amassed a five-fight winning streak of his own since colliding with Aldo’s knee at UFC 142. That loss appears to have been a turning point in his career. With only one finish in six fights leading up to his first title shot, Mendes has turned that criticism on its head by finishing four of his last five before the closing bell.

http://www.cagepotato.com/bellator-130-fail-gif-bobby-lashleys-opponent-flops-to-mat-loses/

The former WWE star and current TNA attraction faced off against undefeated British heavyweight Karl Etherington, who had come into the fight with a 9-0 record, and all wins coming in the first round — seven of which were earned in under a minute. On paper, Etherington is no can. He was also billed as a judo black belt , which is kind of hard to believe when you watch the GIF of the finish, in which the Brit tries to pull Lashley to the mat, loses his grip, and flops onto his stomach where Lashley bashes him until Etherington taps to strikes. Not exactly Rousey -esque.

He said what? Conor McGregor antagonizes Brazilian fans in UFC Q&A

But that didn’t stop “The Notorious” one from heading to UFC 179 in Brazil to check out the main event between champ Jose Aldo (24-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and Chad Mendes (16-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC). McGregor has talked big about both fighters, but before possibly meeting the winner for the title, he’ll tangle with Dennis Siver in January in the UFC Fight Night 59 main event in Boston – a fight he said today is just to get rich and stay busy.

Is the UFC better off with Chad Mendes -- not Jose Aldo -- as featherweight champion?

Part of making money on a fight is what you say to hype it, sure. Chael Sonnen became one of the biggest draws in UFC history almost solely because he was smart enough to know how to push people's buttons -- the fans’ and his opponents’. Sonnen was a lightning rod, but Mendes is not. He's a fantastic fighter, good-looking and extremely likable. But he's not oozing with charisma. There's no guarantee that fans latch onto him just because he talks a little more smack than Aldo does.
