MMA fighter finding peace years after accidently breaking opponents neck

"It took two and a half years for the lawsuit to go through and I was found not guilty, but they were trying to garnish my wages for life if I was found guilty. It hurt me in the long run because it took two and a half years of not wrestling. It hurt me because they tried to sue me, and I didn't do anything wrong. It messed me up, too. He has to live with it and so do I. I didn't get to further my wrestling career after that."

There is now an official Bill Cosby meme generator, which is a terrible idea

You've been making Bill Cosby memes for years, but there's always been that pang in the back of your mind. "This isn't legal," you told yourself. While you were typing in those white, oversized Impact font letters over a classic shot of Bill in a sweater, you were probably thinking about that MPAA advertisement that used to run before the start of DVDs, showing all the terrible things that could come from copyright infringement. Well, good news for you, because today there's an official, sanctioned Bill Cosby meme generator .

IAN BAGG Ages 18

“One of the most complex and exciting stand-ups working in America today.  Like an idealistic hippy stuck inside the body of a testosterone-pumped US marine.  He’s been likened to late great US comedians such as Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison, but although he exhibits a similar brand of furious indignation, his observations and revelations are entirely his own.  His angry, insightful act is an absorbing battle between his raw libertarian instincts and his refined liberal sensibilities.”

Leonard Garcia Changing Focus to the Fight, Not the Future | MMAWeekly.com

“Every time I put pressure on myself to say that this is the fight that’s going to get me in (the UFC) or this is the one that’s going to do it, that’s when bad things happen,” said Garcia. “I don’t need to overthink it, I just need to get in there and go.

Hindsight: UFC Fight Nights: Rockhold vs. Bisping & Shogun vs. St. Preux in retrospect

Fallout for Lima: After his loss at the end of TUF, a season many pegged him to win, there was still quite a bit of hope for Lima as a top MMA prospect. At 25, he's relatively young, he hasn't been fighting for that long, and he's been winning more often than not. It's hard for me to feel that a great deal of shine isn't off his potential after this win however, as he seemed to get everything going his way, and just not be able to get over the hump and finish the fight. At one point, in the first, he got so frustrated that he threw a blatantly illegal knee. It's not a great sign for his ability to take on opponents that can really hang with him, if he's losing his cool against someone he's dominating.

War Machine on attempted suicide: ‘I bitched out way too prematurely’

It was an extremely hard thing to bring myself to do, guard walks by every 30 mins, still unsure as to what brought him up again early, wasn't my time I guess. A few very nice officers came and spoke to me while I was on suicide watch, made me realize a few things, mostly that I called it quits too early. Never in my life have I been a quitter, and I know that my perseverance is the main quality which makes me appealing to fans...and I'll be the first to say that I bitched out way too prematurely. I'm sorry to all of my loved ones and supporters, this ordeal has just been hell on me. Everything was going so well and this shit just blindsided me. I guess I've just been fighting my entire life, and this time I just don't want to, I just want to be happy and relaxed for once...Fuck.

King Mo Lawal Says Bellator Tried, but Rampage Jackson Doesn’t Want Rematch | MMAWeekly.com

The rivalry between “ King Mo” Lawal and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson dates back to Jackson’s King of the Cage days in the early 2000s. When Jackson signed with Bellator in 2013, he said part of the reason he signed with the promotion was to fight Lawal.

Bellator 131's Mike Richman enticed by Nam Phan's style, not name

“In all honesty, having those traits against me is not a good thing,” Richman said. “I’m going to hit him the cleanest and hardest he’s ever been hit. If he can stand in front of mine, then yeah, whenever you stand in front of a guy that can take your best punches and stay in the fight, it can be frustrating. You’ve just got to keep your leather on target and beat him to the punch.

The Ultimate Fighter Episode 8 Preview: Bad blood runs deep

On one hand, injuries happen quite often and fighters have even left the show before, which causes a need for someone to step in as a replacement.  In most of those situations it's somebody who has already lost and they are allowed to return to get back in the competition.  Back in season 3 of the show, there were a huge list of changes that happened due to these very scenarios.  One fighter (Noah Inhofer) left the show for personal reasons while another (Matt Hamill) was knocked out due to injury.  Season 11 was also devastated by injuries and switches when fighters like Nick Ring were forced out of the competition.  As a matter of fact, Court McGee was only allowed back after an injury and he went on to win the entire tournament.

Juliana Lima sees room for improvement after first UFC win: ‘You saw only 30 or 40 percent of what I can do’

"I wish I had the chance to move more, but the adrenaline of fighting for the UFC in your home state consumed some of my gas," Lima told the media in Brazil. "As my coach says, you only saw 30 or 40 percent of what I can do. I’m only getting better, and you will see the real ‘Ju Thai’ in my next fight."
