Yahoo! Sports: Vitor Belfort Submits to Blood, Urine Test from Nevada Athletic Commission | MMAWeekly.com
The Nevada commission initially had given Belfort a surprise test on Feb. 7 when Belfort arrived at the Venetian for an awards show, anticipating he would fight Weidman in May at UFC 173. Belfort conceded that his testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratios were above the legal limit, but he was on testosterone replacement therapy at the time of the testing. Nevada banned TRT on Feb. 27. Belfort withdrew his license application at that point to allow himself time to cycle off the TRT.

Fireball Recalled in Scandinavia for Propylene Glycol
Propylene glycol is a synthetic liquid substance that absorbs water. Propylene glycol is also used to make polyester compounds, and as a base for deicing solutions. Propylene glycol is used by the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries as an antifreeze when leakage might lead to contact with food. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified propylene glycol as an additive that is “generally recognized as safe” for use in food. It is used to absorb extra water and maintain moisture in certain medicines, cosmetics, or food products. It is a solvent for food colors and flavors, and in the paint and plastics industries. Propylene glycol is also used to create artificial smoke or fog used in fire-fighting training and in theatrical productions. Other names for propylene glycol are 1,2-dihydroxypropane, 1,2-propanediol, methyl glycol, and trimethyl glycol. Propylene glycol is clear, colorless, slightly syrupy liquid at room temperature. It may exist in air in the vapor form, although propylene glycol must be heated or briskly shaken to produce a vapor. Propylene glycol is practically odorless and tasteless.

Fighter Diet News, by Fighter Diet: Get Buff, Get Lean
Technique Talk: Michael 'Venom' Page goes from freestyle to 'Six30' kickboxing
Now I teach my kickboxing students the way I'm clinching in the wrestling. It's helping develop their clinching skills. It's giving them skills they never really had before. I think because the second I got into this sport I literally had to defend clinches and takedowns all the time, because that's all anyone was ever doing to me, my clinch game was developed because it was forced to be developed. That's where my weak point was. Training day in and day out, I find that one of my stronger points now just because I had to do it so much from the beginning. People don't want to stand and trade with me in any way, so they say,"'let's get close to him, grab him, take him down or push him into the cage, use bully tactics" and now I'm able to turn, defend takedowns and so on.
The Plan is Simple for WSOF Champ Jessica Aguilar: 'Continue Winning' | MMAWeekly.com
“She’s ranked in the Top 10 and has a great record, so I want to get the win and prepare for the next (challenge),” said Aguilar. “That’s my goal: continue winning and be the champion.
Lean Legs Pak 2 (Athlete)
Fighter Diet followers are becoming famous for lean legs! Yeah we're doing it! Let me take you on a tour on how to do it!
Step 1: Build the dense muscle mass which gives your legs SHAPE
Without muscle you can't shape up. I know you might be scared of getting bulky thighs, but you will not when you do Fighter Diet combined with my Lean Legs concept. Lean legs are not made over night. Start with sticking to it for three months without questioning 'is it happening?'. it is happening, don't worry about it.
Step 2: Use a Fighter Diet diet plan which helps your body shed fat while building muscle. When you want to get tight and firm instead of jiggly, you need to provide enough good food without adding too many calories from unnecessary extras.
Step 3: Melt off the layer of bod
Invicta FC 9 Results: Barb Honchak Clinches Her Way to Retaining Flyweight Title | MMAWeekly.com
In the third, Honchak again went to the clinch, but Hashi was able to work towards a takedown. Despite being in trouble while on her back, Honchak was able to work her way back to her feet and attempt another clinch. Hashi kept her at bay and the two traded punches before clinching again at the end of the frame.
WSOF 15 adds fourth main-card bout with Jorge Patino vs. Eric Reynolds
“Macaco” Patino is a Brazilian MMA pioneer who has been competing professionally since 1995. Patino actually fought for the UFC more than 15 years ago, when he came up short in a bid for Pat Miletich’s UFC welterweight title at UFC 18. More recently, he made his WSOF debut in an absolute slugfest with Luis Palomino at January’s WSOF 8 event.

Michael Bisping’s Final Countdown | FIGHTLAND
Can he do it? Absolutely. Rockhold is a stark test for any fighter, but Bisping has reminded us more than once that he shouldn’t be underestimated. He’s scored impressive wins over a number of the division’s best. Now, you may have been exposed to the point that, excluding Le, none of the men Bisping has beaten are still in the UFC. But that argument holds water like a damp sock. It’s balderdash. First of all, Yoshihiro Akiyama, who Bisping beat soundly, still competes in the UFC. And while it may be true that barring Le and Akiyama, most of Bisping’s victims have left the UFC, when we consider that Brian Stann retired with plenty of fight left in him, Alan Belcher stepped away due to injuries and Jorge Rivera and Chris Leben retired on their own accord, this argument becomes fairly irrelevant. So while Bisping’s opponents might like to play this card during media calls, it’s not much of a claim. Sure, he has never fought for the title, but he’s smoked some stiff competition—to deny that is ridiculous. And while his beating a fighter of Rockhold’s stature is a less likely possibility, it’s not out of the question.

With latest offering, Invicta FC showing signs of a roster raided by the UFC
Back when the UFC first decided that it wanted to get into the business of women’s MMA, which also happened to be right around the same time that Invicta FC was finding its footing as the only all-female fight promotion in North America, Invicta President Shannon Knapp used to get a lot of questions about how her organization could survive with the UFC siphoning off its best 135-pounders to co-star in the Ronda Rousey show.
Trading Shots: Downes and Fowlkes on MMA feuds and the benefits of fighting angry
I do, however, think there is a cost to carrying yourself that way as a fighter, and Bisping is a good example of it. I didn’t miss the part of the story where McCarthy admitted that he was out of shape and overweight (I wrote the damn story, after all), but neither did I miss the part where he says that he didn’t think he needed to be in great shape because he didn’t think Bisping was as good as he was, solely because of how he felt about his attitude and antics. I think that’s still a widespread perception among fans when it comes to Bisping. He’s been in the UFC for more than eight years, has been a fixture among the top middleweights for much of that time, and still people are dismissive of him, in large part because of how he acts in the lead-up to these fights.

Tom DeBlass Pulls Out of King Mo Lawal Fight with Ghastly Forehead Gash | MMAWeekly.com
“Regarding Mo, we already spoke and he’s one of the most respectful guys I’ve talked too. We already spoke of training together when I’m healed. As far as MMA is concerned I’ll never say never, but I can say right now I’m focusing on competing Jiu-Jitsu and improving my Academy. I have no plans to fight right now. Thank you to my manager Danny Liguori for everything and Bellator for being so awesome, you may see me back in there one day. But for now let’s win some more Jiu-Jitsu title”
Jake Shields suggest Chris Weidman as the athlete to carry the torch for MMA grappling
Shields holds a 30-7-1 (1) MMA record, which includes 11 submission victories and 16 decisions, emphasizing his grappling-heavy style. He gives credit to the wrestling training he received during high school, and his indulgence in submission grappling tournaments like the Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championships and the Pan American Championships.

Chael Sonnen Says WWE Once Offered Him a $5 Million Dollar Deal | MMAWeekly.com
“I never told Dana White this story, but here’s why I didn’t tell him. I knew if I called Dana and said, ‘I’ve got a $5 million offer from Vince McMahon,’ Dana would have matched it. Dana would have come close and now all of a sudden I’m not a loyal employee. I’m not loyal to the UFC. I’m shopping them and I’m being loyal to myself. That’s business. That’s how that works and I don’t think anyone would have had hard feelings, but I didn’t see myself that way.”

GSP has bulked up to 200 pounds during injury layoff, plans to return as a welterweight
"I don't know, I'm the biggest I've ever been. Due to my rehab, I was not able to do martial arts training. I did a lot of strength conditioning exercises mixed with a lot of gymnastics. So, I gained a lot of muscle mass. I'm the heaviest I've been in my life, I'm like 200 pounds. I used to walk around at 188 pounds and now I am 200 pounds. Still, at 200 pounds (if I come back) it will be at welterweight. The guys in my division walk around over 200 pounds. Even before when I used to compete, I was very small. I have a very large frame that makes me look bigger because I have a long reach. But I'm not that heavy, I'm a small guy for the elite of my weight class, actually."
The Ultimate Fighter contestants go all out for Halloween 2014
But the winner for Halloween 2014 when it comes to "The Ultimate Fighter" is Team Melendez fighter Angela Hill, who summoned her inner Michonne from "The Walking Dead" for her outfit this year. She even got her hubby to do his best Rick Grimes impression. Well done indeed.
Stories like these got me hooked. #Shredztransformation The @Shredz 30 Day Weight Loss Challenge includes supplements, Exercise and Nutrition Guides to get you to your fitness goals. Check out this amazing transformation by @janequick

I'm thinking of starting a fitness and supplement blog. It will explain how I got my body back after a horrific car accident shattering my pelvis in 3 places and being unable to walk for 6 months. Not being able to walk during this 6 month period, I put on about 10 pounds. I've lost 15 lbs since then. I work out 3-4 times per week, and I eat as much as I want until I'm FULL and SATISFIED at every meal. There is nothing that I cannot eat when I want. I found the secret to balancing food, exercise and lifestyle. It's amazing to be satisfied in every area. Despite what the experts tell you (I've hired them all over the years) no sacrifices are really necessary to look how you want if you do things smart. Everything you've read or heard is designed to get you to buy a product. It's all biased advice. I have the secret to working out less, eating what you want and still having the ideal body. This works for both guys and girls. It's all about being lean. Have you ever seen a guy or a girl with abs and think they don't looked great? Having definition in your stomach is what it's all about because that means the rest of your body is in shape.
With growth in mind, Bellator MMA, Monster officials plan more motocross-based events
“This was in Vegas, where MMA happens all the time, so we didn’t know if it would be one of those things where people are just like, ‘Eh, whatever,’ or if people were going to be really into it, which they were,” Hans Molenkamp, Monster Energy’s Combat Sports Manager, told MMAjunkie. “We saw the droves of people flock to the cage once that first fight started. We’re stoked. We couldn’t have picked a better partner to do this with.”

Full Bellator 131 End-of-Season Fight Card Revealed | MMAWeekly.com
The full card for Bellator 131 has been finalized for one of the biggest events in Bellator history from San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center on Saturday, November 15 live and free on Spike TV. The night will feature one of the biggest grudge matches in the sport as MMA icons clash when Tito “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Ortiz returns to the Bellator cage to face “The American Psycho” Stephan Bonnar in a light heavyweight affair, while Will Brooks and Michael Chandler will battle for the vacant Bellator Lightweight Title.
While Ken Shamrock hasn't called it quits, Randy Couture, Royce Gracie say what led to retirement
"I'm 50 years old," said Shamrock. "I have more aches and pains than most people will ever know. Not just from fighting, but also from pro wrestling. Just because that's not a ‘sport,' it's still, seven nights a week of a physical grind and it adds up fast. So to get me to go through a training camp again, to put my aches aside and go for one more fight, it would have to be the right offer at the right time with the right opponent."
Matt Riddle to test the water in pro-wrestling: ‘I could make money doing that’
"I looked in the mirror four months ago. I was tired of cutting weight, getting sick, I got the (WWE) network for $9.99 and started reliving the Attitude Era and got that spark that I've been missing since I was 20. I knew I could make money doing that. I saw the guys I grew up watching, I'm watching the new guys and these guys aren't bigger than me, I'm a little more ripped than they are, I'm a cage fighter so I have skills, so maybe this is my shot to make it. If worst comes to worst, they say 'No.' I'm going to keep trying. I've proven people wrong in the past."
Steve Hanoian could revolutionize corner role, if miracles can wait
Hanoian could get his chance sooner rather than later. Sure, fighters aren’t always eager to break from the norm when it comes to their in-cage practices, but as Hanoian’s client list continues to grow (he’s already worked with Michael Bisping, Joseph Benavidez, Dennis Bermudez, Fabricio Camoes, Danny Castillo, Pat Cummins, Beneil Dariush, T.J. Dillashaw, Rafael dos Anjos, Jessamyn Duke, Urijah Faber, Manny Gamburyan, Alex Gustafsson, Uriah Hall, Chris Holdsworth, Alistair Overeem, Jessica Penne, Erik Perez, Brendan Schaub, Cub Swanson, Glover Teixeira, Tom Watson, Fabricio Werdum and Cat Zingano, along with Ellenberger and Munoz, to name just a few), so do the opportunities to try something a little different.
Nasty cut forces Tom DeBlass out of 'King Mo' fight at Bellator 131
@kingmofh sometimes life throws unexpected things our way. Accidental headbutt did just that two weeks before my fight with @kingMofh this cut is deep and bad. This cut is taking me out of the fight with Mo. As soon as it’s touched in the fight it will bust open. I know so many of you wanted to see this so I apologize, and I felt so great ,as we know injuries happen in MMA and we fighters take the worst of it. Regarding Mo, we already spoke and he’s one of the most respectful guys I’ve talked too. We already spoke of training together when I’m healed. As far as MMA is concerned I’ll never say never, but I can say right now I’m focusing on competing Jiu-Jitsu and improving my Academy. I have no plans to fight right now.
