'Bellator 135: Warren vs. Galvao' live results: 6:30 p.m. ET

In the second, the fight again hit the ground in the opening minutes, but once there, Galvao capitalized. Rolling deftly into a kneebar attempt, Galvao forced his hips into Warren’s right leg and began to press. Warren let out a scream of pain, and though he never tapped, referee “Big” John McCarthy waved off the fight due to verbal submission 45 seconds into the second round, earning Galvao the Bellator belt.

Bellator 135: Joe Warren discusses training camp costs, career longevity & more

It costs a lot more to fight than it does to wrestle. When I was at the Olympic Training Center, all my travel was covered, all my food and expenses were covered. It's so much more expensive to have a fight camp. You have to fly people in, pay for hotels, food, things you need to take care of when you're on the road. I'm a family man, I've got a wife and two kids, so a lot more goes into my camps than just training.

Since I haven’t yet turned to art collection — I suppose you need money for that — these books don’t necessarily make me covet the vast sweep of artworks they depict and contextualize. Peeved Papi defends past, says he's HOFer

"Some people still look at me like I'm a cheater because my name was on a list of players who got flagged for PEDs in 2003," he wrote. "Let me tell you something about that test. Most guys were taking over-the-counter supplements then. Most guys are still taking over-the-counter supplements. If it's legal, ballplayers take it. Why? Because if you make it to the World Series, you play 180 games. Really think about that for a second. One-hundred-and-eighty games. Your kids could be sick, your wife could be yelling at you, your dad could be dying -- nobody cares. Nobody cares if you have a bone bruise in your wrist or if you have a pulled groin. You're an entertainer. The people want to see you hit a 95-mile-an-hour fastball over a damn 37-foot wall.''

Marsellus Gets Medieval - Pulp Fiction (10/12) Movie CLIP (1994) HD

Pulp Fiction movie clips: http://j.mp/1L5eDtj BUY THE MOVIE: http://amzn.to/u4q3x7 Don't miss the HOTTEST NEW TRAILERS: http://bit.ly/1u2y6pr CLIP DESCRIPTION: Butch (Bruce Willis) saves Marsellus (Ving Rhames) from Zed (Peter Greene), and Marsellus outlines his plan for revenge. FILM DESCRIPTION: Outrageously violent, time-twisting, and in love with language, Pulp Fiction was widely considered the most influential American movie of the 1990s. Director and co-screenwriter Quentin Tarantino synthesized such seemingly disparate traditions as the syncopated language of David Mamet; the serious violence of American gangster movies, crime movies, and films noirs mixed up with the wacky violence of cartoons, video games, and Japanese animation; and the fragmented story-telling structures of such experimental classics as Citizen Kane, Rashomon, and La jetée. The Oscar-winning script by Tarantino and Roger Avary intertwines three stories, featuring Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, in the role that single-handedly reignited his career, as hit men who have philosophical interchanges on such topics as the French names for American fast food products; Bruce Willis as a boxer out of a 1940s B-movie; and such other stalwarts as Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Christopher Walken, Eric Stoltz, Ving Rhames, and Uma Thurman, whose dance sequence with Travolta proved an instant classic.

Dana White on 'Cyborg': 'She's going to try to make 135 pounds' to fight Ronda Rousey

Previous reports on Justino’s near-term future have indicated she’ll defend her featherweight title once more in Invicta before attempting a drop down to bantamweight. Regardless of the timeframe – either White’s statement that 135 is coming next, or the prior reports that 135 will come after one more fight at 145 – it appears clear the writing on the wall is that “Cyborg” eventually plans to get the weight off to get a shot at Rousey.

An Oral History Of 'NewsRadio,' The Sitcom That Broke All The Rules

I remember how much I loved the show for its first two seasons, and how much I hated it for how bad it got later. The heart and soul of the show for me was the relationship between Dave and Lisa, and when that went away the show just lost something. I also hated how they did exactly what every sitcom ever made did; started with interesting characters and then gradually evolved them into one-note simpletons. When the show started, every single character had one thing in common — they were very good at their jobs. Even Matthew was a top-notch reporter (remember him outperforming Lisa in political knowledge?). And Dave was a strong hand at the wheel, as he proved at the end of the first episode. But then Matthew got more and more incompetent, Dave got more and more ineffectual, and even Bill got increasingly impossible to believe as someone any station would keep around. It turned into just another incredibly dumb sitcom, even before we lost Phil Hartman.

http://www.cagepotato.com/cagepotato-roundtable-2-what-was-the-greatest-robbery-in-mma-history/

@karmaatemycat: C'mon really? You do know what robbery means in this context or do you need it explained to you? Everyone with eyes knows the Zombie won that fight, Ricco beat Nog. But nearly everyone who saw the Machida/Rua fight agrees that Machida clearly won two rounds, Rua two rounds and one round was razor thin. Calling that the greatest robbery in MMA history is absurd. Yes, the Rua rounds were more decisive than the Machida rounds, but still, you have a close fight any way you slice it, and a close fight does not a robbery make. I thought Rua won the fight, too, but he wasn't robbed, certainly not the greatest extent in the entire history of the sport. C'mon main, that's turrible.

CSAC: All Urine Samples from UFC 184 Come Back Clean

All 22 fighters who submitted urine samples at UFC 184 tested negative for performance enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse. California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster confirmed the results with Sherdog.com on Friday. In addition, Foster confirmed that one carbon isotope ratio (CIR) test was performed, and that result came back clean as well. All competitors from the Feb. 28 event also submitted blood samples, marking the first time the commission has urine and blood tested an entire card. Foster said he expects to receive the blood test results early next week. UFC 184 took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles and saw Ronda Rousey retain her bantamweight crown with a 14-second submission of Cat Zingano in the evening’s main event. In the co-headliner, former boxing champion Holly Holm took a split decision over “TUF 18” veteran Raquel Pennington at 135 pounds.

A parent's worst nightmare? Bellator's Guilherme Viana chose MMA over law school

“I actually left law school to be a fighter,” Viana told MMAjunkie. “On my first try at making a living as a jiu-jitsu practitioner, I had to take a job as a state bureaucrat to pay the bills. Despite having money in my pocket, I was unhappy with that job. It wasn’t what I wanted out of life. My friends thought I was crazy because I voluntarily quit a good government job to resume my fight career after saving some money, and taking out a loan. Hopefully I’ll keep wining so I can pay that loan back. And during all those difficulties, I had to break up from my girlfriend, to pursue my career. So I’m single now.”

DOLCE LIFESTYLE: How to Manage Sweat Loss & Hydration | The Dolce Diet

Sweat rate during exercise is individual and influenced by age, genetics, gender, environment, exercise intensity, fitness, and acclimation. The process of evaporation of sweat during exercise cools the body. When an individual is dehydrated, it inhibits the body’s ability to cool itself during exercise. By consuming fluid, we replace the sweat that is lost along with the aid for cooling. The best way to gauge your hydration status is by monitoring urine color and volume. Ideally, urine should be a clear to a light yellow color. Dark urine and low in volume represents dehydration. Sodium retains fluid in the body and stimulates thirst.

Better With Age

Joe Warren will defend Bellator’s 135-pound title on Friday in Oklahoma. | Photo: Keith Mills/Sherdog.com Joe Warren first fought Marcos Galvao in April 2011, walking away from their Bellator 41 encounter with a unanimous decision. Almost four years later, the two will lock horns again, this time with the Bellator MMA bantamweight championship on the line. Warren, who will defend his title against Galvao in the Bellator 135 main event on Saturday in Thackerville, Okla., believes history will repeat itself -- with a twist. “We fought before when I was younger in the fight game,” he told Sherdog.com. “My skill level is 1,000 percent better than the first time we met. I want to be offensive-minded and finish the fight for the fans.” The rematch with Galvao represents Warren’s first defense of the undisputed bantamweight title he won in a unanimous decision over Eduardo Dantas in October. In that bout, Warren paired takedowns in all five rounds with strong clinch work, as he became the first two-division champion in Bellator history.

49 Bellator 135: Warren vs. Galvao live results, streaming video, play by play

Davis begrudgingly agrees to continue. Tokoro closes range and plants a heavy right kick to the body of Davis. Davis counter-clinches and puts Tokoro on the cage. Davs changes levels for a single leg and Tokoro tries to counter with the kimura but can't keep it. Tokoro explodes back to his feet as soon as he lets go of the kimura, and nearly takes Davis' back in the scramble. Tokoro again transitions to the armbar from back mount and Davis is still wise to it. The frenetic scrambling continues as both fighters counter one another with high-level grappling. Davis shoots and Tokoro snatches up a kimura counter once again, but this time it's much closer. Davis works his way out and closes the round falling back for a deep guillotine. Amazing round, amazing fight. 10-10 round. I have it 30-29 Davis.
