2 Yves Edwards vs. Piotr Hallmann pushed back from UFC 173 to UFC Fight Night 43

Edwards will attempt to quash the rise of the 26-year-old Hallman, who suffered his first octagon setback in his most recent appearance when he was outpointed by Al Iaquinta at UFC Fight Night 30. The decision loss followed an impressive submission victory over Francisco Trinaldo in his debut at UFC Fight Night 28, which was his 10th consecutive win.

FD GREENS

I'm a Sushi Chef from Hudson Ohio. I recommend Fighter Diet Greens to all of my customers whenever I'm asked questions about my recent weight loss. I was around 245Lbs before I decided to change my life starting with diet and exercise and I'm now weighing in at 188Lbs. I don't think it's a better way to start off your day other than having a scoop of Fighter Diet Greens! All of your vegetable and fruit servings and one scoop and to me it tastes like sweet green tea mochi (Japanese rice cake). So far everyone I've recommended this product to comes back and to me that they love it! As a Sushi Chef I'm asked questions all the time about my opinion on what's healthy and not and I never hesitate to recommend this product! I don't work for fighter diet anyway I don't make a dollar commission off their sales but when I find something good that I like personally I can't wait to share that info with everyone! I believe this will be a product that I use forever!

Morning Report: Forrest Griffin on TRT: 'What's wrong with wanting to be better at your job?'

I haven't followed wrestling in years, though I used to quite closely. Over the last few years I had a friend that still followed that kept me up to date on the major stories, but he has since moved to China (no joke, he really lives in China now) and now I will look up the new stories every few months, but that is it. Being someone who once followed it closely though, I knew that Wrestlemania was coming up as well as the Hall of Fame inductions. So naturally, I was curious about the major matches and who would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Eddie Bravo on Metamoris pay, Royler's legal threats, where he'll compete next & more

In a recent interview with Bloody Elbow, Bravo discussed the verbal altercation with Royce, the odd demands made about the gi pants that went so far as to involve legal counsel, where he thinks he'll compete next and whether he received payment in full from Metamoris. Here's what he had to say:

Unless you’ve studied jiu-jitsu yourself, you might look at sequences like this and be totally baffled. So, a helpful Redditor named MisaCampo recorded a play-by-play commentary video for the entire Bravo vs. Gracie 2 match that explains what’s happening without getting too technical. If you’re a grappling noob who wants to know a little more about the intricacies of human-chess, this is a must-watch.

WSOF's Josh Burkman defends Rousimar Palhares' performance at WSOF 9

“I think with Palhares, he just got a bad rap because he has held them a little bit extra long, and he’s done other things,” Burkman said. “That’s put him in a place where he’s a little bit of a villain. But doing what he did with Steve Carl, and not continuing to have those problems, he can recreate himself with the World Series of Fighting. It can be a good thing for the WSOF. He’s the champion now, and he can do things the right way.”

10 TUF Brazil 3: Episode 4 Recap

The episode begins in the immediate aftermath of Wagnao’s win last week over Peregrino. Instead of celebrating together, Team Wanderlei has a disagreement. Marmota is angry with the way Paulo Costa acted during the fight. He thought Costa was being far too critical of Wagnao and should have spent his time cheering their teammate instead of criticizing. Costa tries to explain he just thought that Wagnao lost the first round he wasn’t trying to insult him. He does, however, insults Marmota and questions his intelligence. Coach Wanderlei calls the whole thing a misunderstanding and tries to smooth things over. The two teammates shake hands, but they don’t come to an agreement.  We shift focus to this week’s heavyweight bout between Antonio Carlos Junior aka Cara de Sapato (“Shoe Face”) and Edgard Castaldelli. Edgard thinks his key to victory will be in the stand-up game. Ol’ Shoe Face is a world champion Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner and Edgard wants to avoid bringing the fight to the ground. He describes himself as “cold and calculating,” and his tactics will bring a win to Team Sonnen.

Cormier will go into the fight with visions of a title shot dancing in his head, hoping to earn a top contender's spot with a win over Henderson in July.  The former two-time Olympian has been gunning for a top 10 opponent since making the decision to drop down to the light heavyweight division, and now his wish is granted.

Eddie Bravo feels he won rematch against 'delusional' Royler Gracie at Metamoris 3

The diehard grappling fans that filed into Pauley Pavilion to watch Eddie Bravo and Royler Gracie go at it again were not disappointed. Their battle of "kinetic chess" was captivating for the entire 20 minutes of toil, and the casuals who don’t normally watch grappling became familiar with such terms as electric chairs and berimbolos. In the end it was deemed a draw, which brought a small level of vindication to Gracie, who’d lost to 10th Planet’s Bravo in Abu Dhabi back in 2003. One person who didn’t exactly see it as a draw was Bravo, whose mother was on hand in Westwood to see her son compete. Bravo thought he won his jiu-jitsu match pretty plain for everybody to see. He appeared on Monday’s MMA Hour and made his case. "I thought I won, and the headline on the Underground just 20 minutes later was, ‘Bravo dominates Gracie and Metamoris,’" he told host Ariel Helwani. "That pretty much sealed it for me, because after a fight everyone can blow smoke up your ass. I’m sure everyone was telling Royler the best possible stuff you can think of.

The Art of the Knockout

If you watch the replay -- which Barboza said he's done "a couple million times," -- it's obvious how show-stopping the finish was. Matchmaker Joe Silva leaps to his feet with his mouth agape. UFC president Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta both shake their heads in disbelief. The Rio crowd, already cheering for the Brazilian Barboza, erupts in euphoria. It was a kick almost worthy of a World Cup win. The strategy of misdirection, the power generated in the hips, the speed of the spin, the accuracy, and the degree of difficulty are all elements in what made Barboza's finish so memorable and unique.

The fight joins a card headlined by Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler, who will complete MMA’s greatest trilogy, while Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will battle King Mo in a light heavyweight tournament final.

The man called LayzieTheSavage and the Rousey connection

They were living at Fairmont Miramar then and the hotel was on a canal that ran from the walled city of Santa Monica straight down to the ocean. They could see the towers of Casa del Mar across the low plain of the Viceroy and they rode there on their bicycles at some time of nearly every day along the white road that bordered the Venice Canal. In the evenings and the mornings when there was a rising tide sea bass would come into it and they would see the mullet jumping wildly to escape from the bass and watch the swelling bulge of the water as the bass attacked.

UFC 173’s Francisco Rivera: I can be the No. 1 contender here

While Rivera says he respects the skills and experience of his Japanese foe, he believes this is the fight that will make him a household name to the UFC audience.

Wrestlemania Judo Chop: Brock Lesnar's F-5

After a brutal back-and-forth war with popular wrestler C.M. Punk, in which both wrestlers fought for twenty five minutes straight despite gassing out minutes into the match, Lesnar finally managed to get the best of his foe. Punk is a great wrestler, but he lacks commitment: his back story, that he is only a mild-mannered Gracie Combatives salesman by day and a wrestler by night, indicate that he doesn't spend as much time in the gym as Lesnar. And if there's one thing Brock made himself known for in his MMA days, it was his flawless technique.

WMMA Preview Week 1-2: Holly Holm headlines on AXS TV, Seo Hee Ham returns

Another step in the Holly Holm build up. Just another fight they can point too, at least on paper, that Holly was being tested. "Her last opponent had most of her wins by submission and Holly beat her! Oh, Werner's on a 5 fight winning streak ( at flyweight)! " You don't really see MMA fighters that are able to pick fights, the way Holm and her team does. And that's no knock on Holm or her team. It's very smart and Holm is extremely talented. Dana White said he doesn't like Holm's manager, which likely means he's doing his job, trying to secure a lucrative deal.

Middleweight KO artists Uriah Hall, Thiago Santos meet at UFC 175

Hall (8-4), one of the top knockout artists to ever emerge from TUF, is coming off a TKO of Chris Leben at UFC 168 in December. That was the 29-year-old's first UFC win following losses to Kelvin Gastelum in the TUF 17 Finale and then John Howard last August. The Jamaica native and New York City resident has been criticized for being too passive, but he didn’t look that way against Leben, flashing that precision and KO power he was known for on The Ultimate Fighter.

Diego Sanchez disputes health concerns: "I'm not taking a lot of damage"

"I wanted my fans and my sponsors to know the real truth because this was one of the best camps I ever had for that (Myles) Jury fight.  If you watch my open workout, you can see the speed and the quickness and the pep in my step and the punches.  You'll see that's not the fighter that went in there to fight," Sanchez told FOX Sports.  "I didn't have the speed, I didn't have no muscle energy, and I couldn't hold down any food or water for the whole day. I threw up three times at the hotel and three times at the venue, and it's just like I didn't have no energy and no strength. I burnt all my energy in my warm up and I went out there and I just didn't have it."

Matt Brown: 'I don't know what I gotta do' to get a UFC title shot

"I was a little bit surprised," Brown admitted. "Went from, what, Condit was No. 2? And I think Silva is No. 15 now. I don't think he was [ranked] before. That's definitely a huge drop. But, you know, main event. Erick is one of those guys that he could beat anybody in the top-10 any day, and I think pretty much everybody knows that. Any of the hardcore fans know how good he really is. He's had some bad luck fights, but man, everybody knows how good this kid is, so I don't think it was a drop in skill level. It's just a drop in the actual rankings."

'Brock Lesnar: Best of the Beast' debuts on UFC Fight Pass

Despite just one professional fight, a 2007 win over Min-Soo Kim, Lesnar was offered a UFC contract and made his octagon debut against Frank Mir at UFC 81. The bout featured a bit of controversy, as Lesnar appeared to be well on his way to a TKO win before referee Steve Mazzagatti halted the action to deduct a point for striking his opponent, Frank Mir, to the back of the head. Mir used the restart to secure a submission win, launching one of the biggest rivalries on recent UFC history – eventually leading to a rematch that would serve as the headliner of 2009′s historic UFC 100 event.

Wrestlemania 30 Judo Chop: The Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver

The move was ruled illegal back in the year 2000, after medical experts saw the undertaker demolish an entire concrete foundation by pile-driving a piece of balsa wood through the floor of a karate dojo. Because of this, The Undertaker has restricted his mixed martial arts career to winning a record 21 Wrestlemania events without incurring a single loss, something neither Brock Lesnar, nor Cain Velasquez have been able to accomplish.

Urijah Faber on UFC gold: 'We are going to continue getting those shots, and eventually get that belt'

We have had a lot of shots at those titles, and we are going to continue getting those shots, and we are eventually going to get that belt," he exclaimed, "It's only been like three years since the sport has had the lighter weights. Phil Davis thinks Jon Jones may still back out of UFC 172 title defense

Those delays led some to wonder aloud whether Jones was trying to push for a different fight, a fact that isn’t lost on Davis (12-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC), who meets Johnson (16-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) on the same card. And of course, while it’s been more than 18 months since the much-maligned cancellation of UFC 151 – which Jones was scheduled to headline – the champ still gets his share of criticism for his role in the unfortunate scenario.

Wrestlemania 30 Judo Chop: John Cena and the Five Knuckle Shuffle

At the start of the sequence, Cena waves his hand in front of his face, telling his opponent, "You can't see me." The purpose of this hand-waving is subtle, but very important. Cena uses this motion in order to lull his opponent into a state of high susceptibility. Much like a hypnotist and his watch swinging back and forth, or a snakecharmer and his swaying flute, the motion of Cena's hand brings his opponent into a state of hypnosis. From there, the downed opponent is open to suggestions, so when Cena says "You can't see me," it imprints in his opponent's head the idea that Cena is now invisible. As a result, the downed wrestler never sees Cena, making the punch a complete surprise and therefore much more effective.
