Alan Jouban did good work in the striking department right away against Armando Montoya Jr., but had to survive a dicey moment in the first before landing the big one in the second. He landed a few in bunches in the first, but Montoya caught him and dropped him briefly. And moments later, Montoya took a shot too low and needed some recovery time. Montoya got into trouble when Jouban threatened with an omoplata late in the first, but he survived. He wouldn’t last the second, though. Jouban had Montoya in trouble in that frame thanks to a head kick. And after landing a vicious pair of knees, when Montoya got to his feet, he ate a left that ended the fight. Jouban (8-2) got back in the winner’s circle with Montoya (8-4) as his sixth knockout victim in eight victories.

Chael Sonnen: Wanderlei Silva 'a coward' after celebrating sucker punch on TUF Brazil 3
"I had talked to Wanderlei about that. Wanderlei had quit the show, he quit the show on the very first day, walked out on his guys, walked out on me, the whole process. He quit. I'm pleading with him to get him back and I've got to level with him. I go Wanderlei, I can do this show without you, but it's not going to be near as good. Wanderlei, I don't like you, but a lot of people do and a lot of people are huge Wanderlei fans, these guys want to learn from you, they look up to you. You've got to understand I'm the bad guy. I said all these things about Brazil, I got all these people worked up, you're the good guy. You come in to save the day and put the villain in his place. That's the story line here," Sonnen stated. "It's already established and it's great. When you come in and behave like this, you compel me to the audience. I don't want to be liked, I want you to be liked, and I want big ratings. I've got to level with him just like this so what I think he already knew, I now have to explain to him.
