Big Hospital Finally telling the truth about Cancer, Johns Hopkins
Way to go Melissa and Connie for beating cancer! Having some faith here;). Now…I did something that would probably cause cancer in normal people today, but not this positive, hard working, natural garden loving, father of 6 lol. Now I saw that with a bit of humor because the truth is none of us are exempt! And…guys…go back and read the posts that have been made and ask yourself if you made a positive difference or informed with truth and life! Show some love folks…speaking of love…that bit about the batteries was a clever form of science to put some in their place. Everyone here agrees with poor James statement…citric acid is an acid…good one at that. check out my teeth! vinegar without brushing your teeth…goodness! The miracle is not in the fruit alone, but the bodies ability to use it! Sorry Pete, it appears despite your asking…half a dozen put that link down without any further data and those who did have data didn’t proof it altogether either. USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie rankings, May 27: Dillashaw, Lawler on the move
Following this past weekend’s UFC 173 event, there’s a new name atop the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA bantamweight rankings: newly installed champ T.J. Dillashaw.
UFC legend Rich Franklin dislikes public speaking, but tore down the house in this TED talk
Last month, though, the UFC legend found himself in Chicago preparing for a TED talk. Normally, if he has to speak in front of people, he just kind of wings it. This time, his speech had to be between 15 and 18 minutes long. With slides. For the first time, Franklin wasn't talking in front of a bunch of students. This needed serious preparation for an entirely different demographic.
Wrestler hits insane cartwheel double leg
When I first saw this cartwheel to a double leg sequence, I figured that Llopez was simply showboating. After repeated viewings, however, I realized that the acrobatic maneuver represents an ingenious set up for a takedown. Llopez transitions seamlessly from the impressive tumbling technique to the shot. The cartwheel circumvents the defending wrestler's head/hands defense, and leaves Llopez in impeccable position, with his level lowered and head already on the hip. Llopez then wastes no time, grabbing his competitors legs, and powering through to finish the double.

Lean Legs Pak 2 (Athlete)
Fighter Diet followers are becoming famous for lean legs! Yeah we're doing it! Let me take you on a tour on how to do it!
Step 1: Build the dense muscle mass which gives your legs SHAPE
Without muscle you can't shape up. I know you might be scared of getting bulky thighs, but you will not when you do Fighter Diet combined with my Lean Legs concept. Lean legs are not made over night. Start with sticking to it for three months without questioning 'is it happening?'. it is happening, don't worry about it.
Step 2: Use a Fighter Diet diet plan which helps your body shed fat while building muscle. When you want to get tight and firm instead of jiggly, you need to provide enough good food without adding too many calories from unnecessary extras.
Step 3: Melt off the layer of bod

Your Antibacterial Soap Is So Dangerous, Minnesota Just Banned It
Back in December, the FDA proposed requiring manufacturers of products that contain triclosan to prove that they’re more effective than just washing your hands or brushing your teeth. Some studies have also shown that the chemical causes hormonal imbalance in animals—which makes you wonder what it’s doing to us. There’s also concern that the use of triclosan is contributing to the rise of deadly, antibiotic-resistant superbugs.

Rather than desperately appeal to Katsunori Kikuno's team to return him to the stance which he used to get the better of Eddie Alvarez on the feet (do yourself a favor and watch that fight, Kikuno was incredible once), or focus on Robbie Lawler or Daniel Cormier's showcase bouts, today I would like to focus on TJ Dillashaw, and how he Killed the King.
UFN Berlin Main Card Fantasy Preview
The UFC will return to Germany for the first time in four years with this Saturday’s UFC Fight Night card, which is headlined live on UFC FIGHT PASS by a bevy of top middleweight talent as Mark Munoz and Gegard Mousasi face off in the five-round main event while CB Dollaway takes on Francis Carmont in the co-main event of the evening. The show is stacked with international talent, including former Ultimate Fighter competitor Luke Barnatt making the short trip from England to Germany, while Tom Niinimaki looks to make it two in a row when he travels from his home country in Finland for the card in Europe. In today's fantasy preview, we are going to break down the four fights on the main card to see which fighters have the best chance of winning and if there any upsets on the horizon for Saturday's show in Germany. GEGARD MOUSASI (-300 FAVORITE) VS. MARK MUNOZ (+220 UNDERDOG) The main event pits two middleweights at a serious crossroads in their respective careers. Gegard Mousasi was expected to be a serious contender when he dropped back down to 185 pounds earlier this year, but his path to greatness was derailed in a hurry when he ran into Lyoto Machida , losing by unanimous decision back in February.

Pivotal Moments: Dillashaw vs Barao, part 1
Normally, it is a very bad idea to let one's rear foot drag forward on the cross. It indicates that the fighter's weight has come completely onto the front foot, and that he will be unable to follow his rear hand up with a safer attack from his lead. Dillashaw, however, uses the natural tendency to launch oneself forward on power punches to shift into the opposite stance, from which he can seize unexpected angles on his opponent. The switch to southpaw in frames 2-4 above is as smooth as can be, and because he is not tied down to his orthodox stance, Dillashaw can work his way to Barao's side much more quickly than anticipated.
WSOF Extends Deal with NBC Sports Group, Makes Network TV Debut on July 5
World Series of Fighting is coming to network television.
WSOF officials Tuesday announced that the organization has extended
its ongoing agreement with NBC Sports Group through 2017 and will
make its network TV debut on July 5, when WSOF
11 “Gaethje vs. Newell” airs live on NBC.
The promotion will return to the network on Dec. 27, though no
bouts have been announced for that card thus far. All told, NBC
Sports Group will televise 14 WSOF events this year across multiple
platforms. MMAJunkie.com first reported the plans on Monday.
WSOF signed its initial deal with NBC Sports Group in 2012, and NBC
Sports Network has broadcast all of the promotion’s events to date,
as well as supplemental programming like “WSOF Future Champs” and
“Unstoppable: Best of World Series of Fighting.”
The Las Vegas-based organization will hold two shows next month, as
WSOF Canada 2 takes place June 7 at Edmonton Expo Centre in
Edmonton, Alberta. Two weeks later, WSOF 10 goes down from the Hard
Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, highlighted by a middleweight
title showdown between Jesse

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Review: The Perfect Re-Imagining of An Old Classic Tale - Nerdcore Movement
If there is a downside in the story and character development it comes from only one place and that’s the big bad for this movie played by Peter Dinklage as he portrays military scientist, Bolivar Trask. Now, Dinklage’s performance is fine (truth be told he’s one of the best actors going today), but the script didn’t give him much to work with outside of this inundated need to want to dissect and study mutants before destroying them. It’s an old trope used constantly in X-Men movies, and only one character (William Stryker, who also appears in this movie) actually got a backstory where you can find out why he hates mutants so much. This time around, Trask just seems like a curious scientist who wants to understand his enemy but also hopes to simultaneous use that information to stomp mutants into the ground.
Leave it to Russia to shoot MMA with a helicopter camera
As you can see, Russia's Arrows MMA has been advertising on every page of MiddleEasy for the past week -- heck they're even on the front page of the site. However due to low user interaction with their banner, they have decided not to advertise the following month. I blame their lack of advertising on you, people. Where's the Russian love? You guys know Arrows/Throne puts on some ridiculousness, so why not just click on the banner and see what they have in store. Seriously, you guys just have not been clicking on it, and now your poor performance reflects negatively on MiddleEasy. You're losing the site money, and you should let that guilt stay with you for the rest of the week.

UFC 173 Report Card
Jamie Varner got taken to the woodshed in this one, but fighting through a broken ankle deserves nothing less than an above-average grade on the ESPN Report Card. A huge "F" goes out to his corner for not throwing in the towel. That can be a tough decision to make, but here's a tip: If you're guy can't stand up, throw it for well-being's sake.
9 Surprising Ingredients Used in Taco Bell’s Ground Beef
Restaurant chains are expected to serve food that is consistent in taste and texture—it’s part of what customers buy when they go to a recognized name; they want to know that the burrito they get in Texas will taste the same as the one in Oregon. The balancing of additives to meat helps to achieve that. When the main ingredient of your beef burrito isn’t beef, however, you should know what else is in there.
WSOF champ Karakhanyan wants to get paid ... and says Conor McGregor sucks
“I have one more fight left after this fight with WSOF, then my manager, Mike Kogan, will sit down and see what’s best for me,” Karakhanyan told MMAjunkie. “A lot of fighters say they don’t do this for the money and all that, but that’s your only job. This is how I make a living. I’m going to be honest: This is the only way I make a living. Money matters to me. It matters to me how much I get paid. I’m not going to sit here and bulls–t you and say I don’t care. I’ve got to support myself and my daughter, so money matters.”

‘The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3’ Finale Preview - Miocic vs. Maldonado

victories. | Photo: Dave Mandel/Sherdog.com
As much as MMA is about sport and competition, everyone loves a
good freak show fight every now and then. That is why Tito Ortiz ’s
recent win over Bellator
MMA middleweight champion Alexander
Shlemenko drew the attention it did. While Bellator booked
Ortiz-Shlemenko intentionally to help anchor the lineup of its
“The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3” Finale headliner was borne out
Miocic was originally scheduled to face former heavyweight
champion Junior dos
Santos in the main event on Saturday at the Ibirapuera
Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. When dos Santos bowed out with an
injury, however, apparently the only suitable replacement the
promotion could find on short notice was light heavyweight talent
Maldonado . If Miocic does as he is supposed to and wins
handily, do not expect a demonstration similar to the one put forth
by Ortiz following his submission of Shlemenko; that is too much to
ask of most anyone.
It’s official: World Series of Fighting has become the latest MMA promotion to sign a network television deal. Previously a fixture on the NBC Sports Network cable channel, WSOF has signed a new multi-year agreement with the NBC Sports Group that will bring its events to multiple broadcast platforms, including a set of events on NBC. MMAJunkie confirmed the news earlier today with World Series of Fighting president Ray Sefo.

The World Series of Fighting will be the next mixed martial arts promotion to find their way to network television with today's announcement that the promotion has inked a new deal with NBC.
For Jon Jones, an ambitious plan brings a shot at unparalleled greatness
If Jones did all that by the end of 2014, culminating with a win at, say, the UFC’s big year-end event in Las Vegas, it might go down as he best calendar year any MMA champ has ever had. Three title defenses, including one over the man who gave him his toughest test to date, and another over the man who seems to present the most intriguing challenge for his immediate future, and all before his 28th birthday? At least then we could stop arguing about who the pound-for-pound greatest is. And wouldn’t that be nice.
UFC Fight Night Berlin Preview
The UFC returns to Germany with a card sure to shake up the middleweight division. Top-15 middleweights Mark Munoz and Gegard Mousasi square off in the main event, and up-and-comers Luke Barnatt and Sean Strickland put their unbeaten streaks on the line.
Early rumored Bellator 120 numbers: 50,000 - 65,000 PPV buys
The initial number I had heard early last week was 35,000, which was obviously low given the dramatic spike in traffic seen across the SBN network. In recent days I've heard numbers hovering around 45,000 to 55,000. The idea that it got as high as 65,000 doesn't seem unrealistic at this point and would have to be considered a success to some degree.

The latest edition of the Great MMA Debate podcast features interviews with Stipe Miocic, Gegard Mousasi and C.B. Dollaway as well as all the fall out from UFC 173 including reaction to T.J. Dillashaw's stunning performance over Renan Barao.
Renzo Gracie: I didn't punch club bouncer, because he 'chickened out'
Gracie said calling it gang assault was "ridiculous," because it was never three or more men beating up one man, which is how the law is written in New York. Those charges were reduced at arraignment to misdemeanor (third-degree) assault May 20, and all seven men were eventually released on $10,000 bail. Gracie said he waited for everyone else to be released before he left jail.
New UFC champ T.J. Dillashaw: Renan Barao shouldn't get instant rematch
“It was a crazy feeling,” he said. “The fight felt like it was in slow motion. I can’t complain – it worked out perfectly. It actually worked out better than I expected. Obviously I go in there fighting the guy that’s been on a dominant win streak, and obviously I was an underdog for a reason. The guy’s a very good fighter. I knew it would take a lot to beat him. I had a huge feat in front of me. I just felt a groove, and I felt on. I’ve been doing a lot of work, and it all paid off.”
Bad Boy Presents Bloody Elbow Radio - Episode 339: UFC 173 Aftermath, UFC Fight Night Previews

If Brian Ebersole has taught us anything, it’s that a successfully executed mid-fight cartwheel (and some finely-sculpted body hair) can lead to instant notoriety in the world of combat sports. Clearly a follower of Ebersole’s career, Josh Llopez of the Maryland Renegades understood the near 100% cartwheel-to-Internet-glory turnover ratio, and used an off-season wrestling match to cement his name in the annals of college wrestling history with this absolutely insane cartwheel to double leg takedown.
Renzo Gracie breaks silence on nightclub brawl
"It’s not because you’re a fighter, it’s because they wanted to call the attention of the press," he continued. "They want to make a drama and create problems. Now they know because they watched the tape. They saw that was no coward act. They saw it was just a little scuffle and I took him down and mounted him. I didn’t hit him once. That’s the reality, I don’t need to lie. If I beat the crap out of him, I’d tell you right now, but I didn’t had the chance. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance. It couldn’t happen because he chickened out. I wish he had put a fight. Why I’m so frustrated, I was expecting a fight when I tackled him."
World Series of Fighting headed to network television
After promoting nine events in less than two years, WSOF has signed a multi-year agreement extending and broadening its deal with the NBC Sports Group through 2017. The future cards will be televised on NBCSN and NBC and featured on NBC’s digital platforms.
Michael Bisping on Cung Le bout: 'My back's against the wall'
"Instantly, I thought, 'Wow, this is cool.' I've love being in international fights for the UFC," Bisping told Ariel Helwani on Monday's The MMA Hour. "I've always wanted to travel to China, but I haven't had the reason to yet. And here we are. I'm off to Macau and I'm thoroughly excited. Excited to be back in there with an exciting stylistic fighter like Cung Le. He brings it every time. Like I said, he has an exciting style. Lots of kicks and punches. It's going to be a great striking battle.
Rankings Focus: Renan Barao drops on pound-for-pound list, but not enough
Barao's biggest win came against Urijah Faber and he did it twice. He was the UFC bantamweight champion, but never actually beat the former champion, Dominick Cruz, because Cruz has been out for two years due to injury. As good as Barao was and is -- he had not lost since 2005 before Saturday -- he didn't have an incredible UFC résumé. Granted, that's mostly because of a thin division and that's not his fault.

Satoshi Ishii announces fight with Mirko Cro Cop on August 23rd
If there's one big "name" heavyweight operating outside the bounds of a major MMA promotion in today's landscape it's Satoshi Ishii . An Olympic gold medal Judoka (no, not Ronda Rousey ) for Japan, Ishii has been tabbed for stardom in MMA since his first bouts. In that way that only Japanese MMA seems able or willing to do, this means that he's been fighting the best available opposition right out of the gate; sink or swim from day one. At times he's sunk, and sunk hard. Lately, however, Ishii has been on something of a tear; beating a host of former UFC vets and establishing an eight fight winstreak over decent competition, without ever setting foot in the octagon. In today's landscape, that's practically unheard of.
