Mayweather-Pacquiao Live Blog: Follow along with all the action from the fight
• The story of Saturday wasn’t the fight, but who would, or more specifically wouldn’t, be allowed to cover it. ESPN’s Michelle Beadle and CNN’s Rachel Nichols—both of whom have been critical of Mayweather’s history of domestic violence—tweeted that they were denied credentials to the fight. SI.com’s Richard Deitsch covered the situation , but here’s my two cents: The email Nichols has rejecting her credential request can be spun. Kelly Swanson, Mayweather’s longtime publicist, stated that CNN never clarified whether Nichols was going to be in Las Vegas for the fight. What’s un-spinnable, for lack of a better word, is Nichols's statement that, on April 29th, a Mayweather publicist said she still would be denied a fight night credential. It’s Rachel Nichols. Her word here, in my opinion, is unimpeachable.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao staff picks and predictions
Fraser Coffeen : Like basically everyone on the planet not directly related to Mayweather (or his money), I obviously WANT Pacquiao to win. And I have to admit, Connor makes a good case - the best case I have seen so far for Pacquiao. Here's the problem I have though: that case would have sold me. In 2010. But today, I just can't buy it. In the past, I've argued that the "Pacquiao is on a decline" mindset is overblown, but in the lead up to Saturday, I've been watching a ton of Manny Pacquiao, old and new, and I hate to say it, but... Pacquiao is on a decline. He has been for some time. Watch the fighter who ripped De La Hoya to shreds and then watch the man who recklessly charged into a Marquez KO - you can't tell me he's still remotely at the top of his game. And yes, the Marquez win is a strong example to pick, but he's just looked kind of sloppy at times of every fight since. Mayweather is slowing down too, but I still think he has enough of those defensive skills to nullify Pacquiao's game, while Pacquiao's defense won't be enough to stop Floyd from landing on him - rare though Mayweather's offense may be.

Still-Perfect Floyd Mayweather Dominates Manny Pacquaio to Decision
LAS VEGAS -- It was a fight that seemed destined to never happen,
to be one of those all-time great showdowns that unfortunately
failed to materialize. Boxing fans were teased for more than five
years with the idea of the world’s two best pound-for-pound
fighters colliding in the same ring. Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny
Pacquiao on Saturday finally got together in what was billed as the
“Fight of the Century.”
Mayweather improved to 48-0 with a unanimous decision, earning
scores of 118-110 and 116-112 (twice) at the MGM Grand Garden
Arena.
“Money” was masterful inside the ring, repeatedly drilling the
Filipino legend with his left jab; and whenever Pacquiao got close
enough, the Grand Rapids, Mich., native nailed him with his counter
right hand. Known for his high-velocity offense and whirlwind
style, Pacquiao was largely reduced to a man unable to pull the
trigger because he was being befuddled.
