and the deal was later confirmed by the Las Vegas-based
Munoz last competed at UFC Fight Night Berlin, where he was
submitted by Gegard
Mousasi via rear-naked choke 3:57 into the first round. “The
Filipino Wrecking Machine” later revealed that he suffered a Grade
3 tear in his MCL and a strained ACL during the bout.
"It was a tough loss. But I think it doesn't matter how many times
you fall, but it's about how many times you pick yourself back up
after a loss or a failure," Munoz told UFC.com .
"That's what I'll do."
After emerging as a potential title contender with seven wins in
his first nine Octagon appearances, Munoz has dropped three of his
last four. The 36-year-old Reign MMA representative owns notable

UFC boss Dana White interested in Anderson Silva vs. Nick Diaz matchup
White thinks Diaz would have to move up in weight for the bout to come to fruition, but if he did, the UFC would have a matchup that would have a good chance of drawing more than the typical MMA crowd. If he has things his way, White will give Silva and Diaz their wish and make it happen.
1969 Pontiac LeMans
This is my car. I don't want to sell her but I'm moving and she can't come with me.
I'll be selling her in the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow I'm heading to the DMV to get the emission exemption so she won't need to be smogged.
She runs strong. I bought her a few years ago from a mechanic in LA and I've never had a single issue with her. All I have done is the interior. It was pretty torn up so I took it all out, cleaned it up and sprayed it black.
There are two racing seats installed but I do have the original seats for restoration.
I will be sad to see her go but it is unfortunately time. Please email if you are interested and we can set up a time to view.
Dana White: Chael is 'done'; commission will 'bury' Wanderlei Silva
"We did that interview and he called me that night when I was on my way home and said 'I'm done, I'm hanging them up,'" White said at Thursday's media session. "You know how he felt about it, the thing (TRT) was legal then it's not, and he's just at a different stage of his life. He's older and I've said it before, if you have to take that stuff, you're probably too old to be fighting. You should probably retire."
Fresh off a first round knockout of TUF 2 finalist Brad Imes in his second IFL title defense, Nelson was riding a big wave of confidence into his bout with the former champion, and it showed early. For the first half of the round, Nelson thoroughly controlled Arlovski on the ground, passing his guard multiple times and cycling between armlocks while on top. This of course came to a screeching halt when referee Iam DumAss stood the two up at the midway point of the round with Nelson in side control. Classic DumAss.

VANCOUVER – On the heels of the announcement of Chael Sonnen ‘s failed drug test earlier this week, and his subsequent retirement, UFC President Dana White sounded off (again) on the issue of testosterone-replacement therapy.

Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-view event headlined by
flyweights touches down on Saturday in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada. A band of local Canadian fighters plays host to a
UFC 174 card with plenty of international flavor, though there
is nothing like an American champion defending his title against a
Russian in Canada on Flag Day.

action-packed five round fight at UFC on Fox 9 in December.
Instead, “Mighty Mouse” blasted Benavidez with a right hand two
minutes into the opening frame, cementing his status as the sport’s
top flyweight. Johnson’s latest challenger, Ali
Bagautinov , has quietly put together a 3-0 run since joining
the promotion, emerging as the default No.
Top-Ranked Strawweight Jessica Aguilar on the UFC: ‘They Never Really Pursued Me’

Why is Jessica
Aguilar , the consensus No. 1 women’s strawweight in the world,
not signed to an
Ultimate Fighting Championship contract? The simple answer may
surprise some: “They never really pursued me.”
The same could not be said for the fledgling
World Series of Fighting promotion. While attending WSOF 6 in
October, Aguilar was approached by the organization, which
requested a meeting to convey its desire to acquire the top-ranked
female at 115 pounds.
“They said they’d call, and I received that call in just three
days,” Aguilar told Sherdog.com. “They asked if I’d be interested
and what I would need. I told him what I wanted, and I had a
contract emailed to me within 30 minutes for even more than I had
asked for. They came to me, believed in me, wanted to work with me,
wanted to help me and they pursued me aggressively. Once I signed
the contract, I haven’t looked back, and they are still keeping

Dana White 'could give a (bleep)' about Bellator vs. UFC head-to-head on Sept. 5
“I could give a s–t where Bellator goes. What night, what day, whatever. It’s not like Bellator’s out there killing it and we’re going to going to go in and take some away. I mean, it’s just stupid to even think that. We end up on the same night as many different sporting events, sometimes boxing events we land on the same nights. There’s tons of events and tons of MMA organizations. I could give a s–t about them.”
Inside the numbers: UFC 174 is year's most competitive card
What will happen on Saturday night in Canada remains to be seen, but purely from a numbers standpoint, UFC 174 is the most competitive card of the calendar year so far – at least if you go by what the oddsmakers have to say.
UFC 174: Johnson vs. Bagautinov - Andrei Arlovski vs. Brendan Schaub Preview and Prognostication
Just look at Arlovski's last fight against Sylvia. Even against a shell of a shell of a shell of Tim Sylvia, he got caught on multiple occasions inside, taking a hard uppercut and a straight right inside the clinch. He doesn't move his head, and he doesn't move his body, and therefore always gets hit. I think of a lot of this is exacerbated by the damage he's taken through his career. Granted, this is conjecture, but when he gets popped his body doesn't look like it possesses the instinct to run/defend. Instead he freezes, only to get caught some more.
