‘TUF 25’ Recap: Episode 12
WHAT A FINISH! @jtmoneymma submits @TheJamesKrause in the
third round and fights FRIDAY vs. Dhiego Lima for $250K! https://t.co/KRFbJ0hL0I
— FOX Sports: UFC (@UFCONFOX) July 6,
2017
Wednesday’s episode will decide who will meet Dhiego Lima
in the TUF 25 Finale: either Jesse
Taylor or James
Krause . That is, if Krause is able to fight in tonight’s
episode because of the eye injury that occurred in his quarterfinal
win over Ramsey
Nijem .
At Team Dillashaw’s training session, T.J.
Dillashaw brings in TUF 24 winner Tim Elliott ,
who is Krause’s training partner in real-life. Naturally, Dillashaw
and his fellow coaches are worried about Krause’s left eye. Nothing
is stopping Krause whilst training, though, and as he says that as
long he’s cleared to take on Taylor, nothing will stop him from
winning this season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
Taylor is a beast in training as well as he says he believes that
he and Krause are clearly the two best fighters in the entire
house. Still, Taylor is convinced he will prevail if and when he
meets Krause in the Octagon because not only of how they matchup
but also because of how much he’s trained with him this season.

5 Things You Might Not Know About Anthony Pettis
Anthony
Pettis has designs on recapturing past glory.
Pettis will return to the scene of his greatest success -- the
Ultimate Fighting Championship ’s lightweight division -- when
he takes on Jim Miller at
UFC
213 this Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It comes on
the heels of a two-fight detour to 145 pounds that saw “Showtime”
submit Charles
Oliveira with a guillotine choke in August before missing
weight and succumbing to strikes from Max
Holloway in a showdown for the interim featherweight
championship at UFC 206 less than four months later. Once revered
as one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the sport, Pettis has
endured a precipitous fall since 2015, going 1-4 over a five-fight
span that included losses to Holloway, Edson
Barboza , Eddie
Alvarez and Rafael dos
Anjos .
As Pettis prepares to meet Miller, here are five things you might
not know about the Milwaukee native:
1. His name has been etched into the history
books.
Pettis is one of nine men who have captured the UFC lightweight
championship.

TUF 25 Finale results: Jordan Johnson stays unbeaten, outworks Marcel Fortuna for decision
“I feel great,” Johnson said. “That dude was a IBJJF world champion and I was a mediocre wrestler, and we just got in a fist fight and I beat him. People need to put their kids in wrestling programs and put money back into the schools. I was hitting him hard. I’m sure people could hear when I hit him. He didn’t really touch me. I caught everything on my forearms. I’m going to have a fake Fourth of July party right now and I’m going to enjoy Vegas for a couple days.”

Amanda Nunes: 5 Defining Moments
She has come to embody clinical ferocity.
Amanda
Nunes will put her
Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s bantamweight crown on
the line against Valentina
Shevchenko in the UFC
213 main event this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las
Vegas, their rematch serving as the cornerstone for the
organization’s International Fight Week festivities. “The Lioness”

record since joining the UFC roster a little less than four years
ago, the
American Top Team standout having battered Germaine
de Randamie , Sheila Gaff ,
Shayna
Baszler and others along the way. A devastating finisher, she
has delivered 13 of her 14 career victories by knockout, technical
knockout or submission.
Though relatively brief, Nunes’ career has its share of defining
moments. Here are five that stand out:

before 2,631 fans at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in
Nashville, Tennessee, on Jan.

While UFC celebrates women in sport, ex-champ Ronda Rousey nowhere to be found
That was before UFC President Dana White changed his mind, which is to say that Rousey changed it for him. Virtually single-handedly, she convinced White to implement a women’s division, and he built it around her. With six crushing victories in two and a half years, she put women’s MMA on the map, gave female fighting both credibility and a superstar face and gained an army of worldwide fans.
