@Heavenly Voice What we must understand is that grace does not cover willful sin. My opinion does not matter, your opinion does not matter. God,s word is the authority and all our talking and explaining will not change what God says. You are very right though in commenting about "thankful that I am not like others"! If we have the right spirit it will grieve our hearts and even bring a spirit of repentance on us when we hear of poor misguided individuals like this. The love of God will not let us judge these people but will prompt us to pray for them. I like to look at it like this. We sin. We know we have sinned. It makes us guilty and miserable! We come to Jesus and with a broken repentant heart we receive mercy and grace! Its so wonderful to be forgiven! This salvation is free but its not cheap! Jesus shed his life blood for us! So now that we are clean and washed by the blood of Jesus, shouldn't we have enough reverence and respect for Jesus that we strive to avoid things that make us filthy all over again? Lets extend our hands to others in this walk of holiness, in love rather than judgement because as you stated we have all sinned.

Tim Kennedy confronts Yoel Romero backstage after UFC 178
UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy had words for his UFC 178 opponent Yoel Romero after their fight on Saturday night. Romero won the contest by stopping Kennedy with strikes in the third round, but the bout had a controversial 'stoppage' between the second and third round. While the call for 'seconds out' was given before the beginning of the third and final round, Romero and his corner continued to stay with Romero sitting on his stool. This took place for almost 30 additional seconds, giving Romero time to recover when he was nearly stopped with strikes at the end of the second round.

Bernie Sanders: Longterm Democratic strategy is “pathetic”
I start off, Thomas, from the position that we need a political revolution in this country and that’s not just rhetoric. What I mean by that is that we need—and a president certainly can play a very, very important role in this—we need a massive change in citizen participation and in political consciousness. There was a poll that just came out I think yesterday. Gallup tells us that… I believe it is 63 percent of the American people cannot name which parties control the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate. So you have consciousness so low, a significant majority of the American people who are very concerned about what’s going on for themselves and their kids, they don’t know who controls the House and the Senate. They can’t name which party controls both bodies. You have what the political scientists tell us is a situation where in this coming election, 60 percent of the American people will not bother to vote. That means 70 -to-80 percent of low-income workers and young people will not vote. So before you can talk about changing America, you have to change the political consciousness and the way that people relate to the political process.

Tim Kennedy on ref John McCarthy: ‘He f---ed up majorly in my fight’
Of all the great storylines and fights that took place at UFC 178 this past weekend, one fight stood out as the lone black mark. That was in the main card fight middleweight fight between Tim Kennedy and Yoel Romero , when the Cuban wrestler Romero took an extended period of time between rounds to recover after nearly getting knocked out. The incident happened between the second and third rounds, right after Romero was rocked with a series of uppercuts and other shots. The round ended just in time to save him from being finished. That’s when confusion started. Despite being prompted by official John McCarthy and Nevada Athletic Commission officials, Romero’s corner stalled on the stool and extra 28 seconds before returning to action. Those 28 seconds ended up being precious ones, as Romero proceeded to TKO Kennedy just 38 seconds into the third round. A pensive, dejected Tim Kennedy appeared on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour to talk about the controversial sequence of events as they took place. "I thought the fight was over twice," he told Ariel Helwani. "If anybody’s to blame, it’s totally me for the outcome.

The left picture is clearly from my last competition in Dec. 2011' where I was already using FDX2 but (no pun intended, haha) I wasn't really training legs/butt like I should have. I was using too many damn machines for my legs and butt! I was cheating myself.

Patience is a virtue, whether it comes to cooking or the sport of
mixed martial arts.
Undefeated featherweight prospect Charles
Rosa has used the patience he learned while earning a degree in
culinary arts and applied it to his MMA career to great benefit. He
had to wait a year after he started training to have his first
fight and then fought 20 times as an amateur before making his
professional debut in September 2010.
“He is a special kid,” said Rosa’s coach,
Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Charles
McCarthy . “Naturally, he’s very gifted when it comes to
fighting, but when he got here, he also made a lot of mistakes that
were dangerous for fighting at a high level. To get to a high
level, you have to avoid mistakes. We did everything the right way
with Charles, starting with amateur grappling tournaments and going
from there. With the guys I work with, I want to make sure they
work the right way. When they get to where they're going to end up,
I want them to be as skilled as possible.

Miesha Tate: ‘Fight-finishing machine’ Ronda Rousey will beat Cat Zingano handily
"Her physical presence suggests that she is really strong, but I didn't feel that during my fight with her. It didn't feel like she was superiorly stronger than any fighter I had faced before. I'm not saying she can't win the fight. I've been in there with both and I think the explosive power of Rousey will beat Cat to the punches in every area and that should be enough to keep the title."
UFC 178 Musings
THE CHAMP IS HERE…TO STAY Demetrious Johnson may not get the attention of a Conor McGregor (then again, who does?) but you better get used to him, because it doesn’t look like he will be giving up his UFC flyweight championship anytime soon. Sure, the names are bigger in other divisions, but as far as beating everyone in his path and being the most dominant champion in the UFC this side of Ronda Rousey, “Mighty Mouse” has set a bar for the promotion’s newest male division that will be hard to reach or exceed in coming years. When discussing his fight with Chris Cariaso Saturday afternoon, MMAJunkie.com ace John Morgan put it perfectly, saying that we will either see Cariaso scoring a monumental upset, or Johnson continuing to dominate, and that we should enjoy getting to see one of the sport’s best doing his thing. Johnson dominated, and yes, it’s good to see an athlete at the top of his game, building a legacy that could go down in the books one day as one of the best ever. SATURDAY’S TRUE STAR Yes, Demetrious Johnson was dominant in victory, “Cowboy” Cerrone impressed with another win, and Conor McGregor was Conor McGregor, but for my money, Saturday’s star was unquestionably Dominick Cruz.
Hi, my name is Randy and I am a 29 year old high school teacher and wrestling coach from Southern California. Unfortunately, I was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiform (GBM) Grade 4. Around mid April, Southern California went through a series of heat waves. During that period, I began to experience headaches on a daily basis. I very rarely have headaches (1 or 2) a year, so I assumed they were just from my allergies. As the days went on, my headaches were getting worse and no over the counter medicine was relieving the pain. One day in the middle of May, I was driving on the freeway and had difficulties staying in my lane and my headaches were becoming unbearable, so I checked into urgent care. The physicians ordered a CTSCAN and found a mass tumor in my right parietal lobe of my brain. They then rushed me to another facility for Neurosurgery and operated on me the following day and my surgeon removed 90-95% of the Tumor. I felt like the worst was behind me and I was in the clear. A few days later my pathology test came back with the unfortunate news that I have GBM Grade 4, a form of cancer that is considered in the medical world to be incurable.

Tim Kennedy blasts Yoel Romero for ‘calculated and planned’ trickery, says John McCarthy got ‘owned’
"I think that John (McCarthy) is the best referee in the promotion. He and Herb Dean, I have great respect for them. He (McCarthy) fucked up majorly in my fight. For being the best ref in the world, he got owned that night by a bunch of guys doing shady things. He got played by all three of them. He just let it happen. Before the fight, I told John, 'If I hurt him, he is going to start playing cheap, I promise.' He said, 'Is this my first day working here?' I told him,'No it's not.' When Derek Brunson hurt him, he punched him right in the balls. It wasn't even close, he punched him right in the dick. When he gets hurt, he fouls intentionally. So I was ready for it, but I was trying to get John ready for it, and obviously he wasn't.
UFC 178 Medical Suspensions: Cat Zingano Could be Sidelined Until March | MMAWeekly.com

In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.*

SMMAF pulls Lapilus from UFC debut, Charles Rosa replaces him against Dennis Siver
Of course, one of those future cards is the UFC's Fight Night: Nelson vs. Story. While most of the bouts on the card are reasonably well matched, one fight has drawn fire from Cage Warriors and MMA media as a clear sign of regulatory favoritism toward the Zuffa run organization. That bout was Dennis Siver vs. Rob Whiteford. Siver being 31 fight, 17 UFC appearances veteran, and Whiteford being a 13 fight veteran and relative UFC newcomer. When Whiteford went down to injury, the criticism only increased, as his replacement was tabbed as 22-year old Frenchman Taylor Lapilus. Lapilus is only nine fights and two years into his career. And more to the point, having only once fought outside of France, has likely never competed under the full unified MMA rule set (France does not allow ground and pound).
Beating the Odds: UFC 178
Romero thumbed his nose at the oddsmakers. | Photo: Jeff
The highest-profile upset at UFC
178 “Johnson vs. Cariaso” on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden
Arena in Las Vegas was also the most controversial.
Kennedy , a -135 favorite, was stopped by Yoel Romero
(+115) 58 seconds into the third round of their middleweight
showcase, though the result came with some controversy attached to
it. Romero remained on his stool for an extra 28 seconds between
the second and third rounds in what many viewed as a blatant
attempt to recover from punishment he had absorbed. The 2000
Olympic silver medalist managed to escape what looked to be certain
defeat near the end of the second round, where Kennedy rocked the
American Top Team -trained “Soldier of God” with a pair of right
uppercuts and had him reeling against the cage. Romero pressed
forward early in the third round, unleashing a full-blown assault
for which Kennedy had no answer. The two middleweights pocketed
$50,000 “Fight of the Night” bonuses for their efforts.
